Peer Mentoring
Peer Mentoring has been a part of the Center for Student Success since the establishment of the office in 1973 when the Minority Advisory Program was created to assist incoming first-year minority students with their adjustment to the Carolina environment. Since that time, we have broadened our scope, and the original MAP has served as the model upon which we have built our current peer mentoring programs. As we continue promoting peer mentoring for the future, we invite any student to apply and join our growing peer mentor family as we recognize the groups we have historically served.
